About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Stratospherec Limited. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our customers, ensuring their learning facilities are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under the guidance of our Network Manager, provide specialist ICT support to ensure customer sites establish and maintain high-quality learning facilities.
  • Set up and check hardware and software for normal operation, ensuring seamless integration with our network infrastructure.
  • Build and configure networked PCs, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Perform maintenance tasks for user accounts, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Run basic network monitoring reports or utilities, providing valuable insights for our IT team.
  • Carry out checks on the systems as guided, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
  • GCSE Grade 5 or above in Maths and English
  • A-Level, BTEC, NVQ, or T-Level in a relevant subject
  • Industry qualifications within the IT sector, such as Microsoft, Cisco, Aruba, or Apple, would be an advantage
  • Experience in an IT helpdesk or IT Support environment would be beneficial
