Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Live Entertainment Programming Manager to join our team at Scottish Event Campus Ltd. As a key member of our Live Entertainment Programming Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional events and experiences for our clients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase live entertainment tenancy and revenue at our venues.
    • Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with existing and new clients to attract suitable and profitable business.
  • Event Programming
    • Contribute to the development of a pipeline of added-value sales opportunities and present compelling propositions to convert to profitable business streams.
    • Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional events and experiences.
  • Market Analysis
    • Review market trends and competitor activity to inform business development strategies.
    • Provide market insights and recommendations to the Head of Live Entertainment Programming.
  • Relationship Building
    • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, promoters, and other industry stakeholders.
    • Attend industry events and trade fairs to build relationships and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Operational Management
    • Maximize ticketing revenue through events held at our venues.
    • Ensure seamless event delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in live entertainment programming or a related field.
  • Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of the UK music and events industry, including event contracts and industry trends.
