About Our Client

We are partnering with a leading large cap credit fund to find a talented Portfolio Manager to join their Direct Lending team in London. With over $10 billion in assets under management, this fund is a top player in the space.

The Portfolio Management team sits alongside the Origination team, working closely with CFOs and COOs of portfolio companies. This is a highly technical role that requires strong financial modeling skills, as well as the ability to work closely with management teams within portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models, including LBO models
  • Analyze portfolio companies and identify areas for improvement
  • Present findings to internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Build strong relationships with management teams within portfolio companies
  • Generate monthly reports on portfolio company performance
  • Assist with restructuring underperforming companies
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Portfolio Manager with a strong background in portfolio management, direct lending, or leverage finance origination. A history of strong academic achievement from a leading institution is also essential. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and a willingness to take on significant responsibility.
