We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a manufacturing company based in the Chepstow area.
Our client is a busy aluminium supplier looking to add new members of staff to their team. This role requires a high level of attention, accuracy, and a previous working history in this role is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
- Carry out maintenance and cleaning of equipment when required.
- Fault find and report any defects or problems.
- Contribute to daily targets and quality control checks.
- Ensure the production area is kept in a clean and organized state.
- Provide cover in other areas of production when required.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements at all times.
- Identify and report any potential safety issues.
- Good team worker with excellent communication skills.
- Pro-active and able to work independently.
- Machine setting experience is essential, with CNC experience desirable but not essential.
- Understand and ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements at all times.
- Operate all activities in accordance with Equal Opportunities legislation and Best Practice.
This role offers permanent opportunities for candidates who can demonstrate their ability, commitment, and excellent levels of attendance and performance during their assignment.
