We're seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team.
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a critical role in the smooth running of our warehouse. Your primary focus will be on contributing to the efficient operation of our warehouse, working flexibly across a variety of activities.
Key responsibilities include:
Pick, check & pack orders ready for dispatch/production, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Load and unload AluK wagons/deliveries, physically checking and booking in deliveries.
Accurately complete paperwork/records, maintaining batch numbers for traceability and ensuring drop sheets and stock labelling are up-to-date.
Assist with stock takes when required, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Practice good housekeeping to maintain the quality of materials and a safe working environment.
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll receive the necessary training to be successful in your role. We're looking for individuals with:
Ability to follow standard operation instructions, demonstrating a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Basic level of IT literacy, including the ability to use email and web-based systems for time and attendance.
Ability to build effective working partnerships with colleagues, demonstrating a proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
This role involves physical movement, including lifting, bending, twisting and carrying loads of up to 20kg. The working hours are 40 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern. The salary is £23,920, and benefits include 22 days holiday, life assurance, employee support programme, and a non-contractual company bonus up to 6% of your base salary.
