Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Subsea Product Design

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at DEEP, a pioneering company accelerating deep sea exploration and preservation. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and testing innovative mechanical systems for subsea product design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and arrangements for subsea products.
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports for procurement, manufacturing, and assembly purposes.
  • Break down and define engineering challenges by interrogating use cases and defining requirements based on customer needs and regulatory compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and provide solutions to technical issues during manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
  • Conduct analysis, simulations, and testing of mechanical systems to ensure their reliability, safety, and performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Previous experience in engineering, with a focus on mechanical design and development.
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Familiarity with marine regulations and standards, such as DNV and IMCA, is desirable.
  • Experience with simulation and analysis software, such as ANSYS or MATLAB, is also desirable.
