Production Operative

Links Recruitment Group is seeking a reliable and skilled Production Operative to join their team in Chepstow. As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for operating equipment and machinery in a safe manner, carrying out maintenance and cleaning of equipment when required, and contributing to daily targets.
Main Duties:
- Operate equipment and machinery in a safe manner.
- Carry out maintenance and cleaning of equipment when required.
- Fault find and report any defects or problems.
- Contribute to daily targets.
- Inspect and carry out all quality control checks as required.
- Ensure the production area is kept in a clean operative state.
- Provide cover in other areas of production when required.
- Organise and maintain inventory within the warehouse.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines while handling materials.
The Person:
- Experience working within a production environment.
- CNC experience/Machine setting experience (desirable).
- Reliable.
- Team Player.
- Ability to prioritise workload.
Salary: £23,800 - £27,000 (£11.44ph)
