Business Development Executive - Wine

Our client, a leader in the wine industry, is seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Business Development Executive to oversee commercial performance and manage day-to-day relationships with key customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve budgeted profitability, meet commercial KPIs, and manage sales targets while ensuring margins are protected.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with all relevant team members within your customer base.
  • Continuously assess account forecasts, monitor, and analyse trading performance to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximise sales potential in your area.
  • Work closely with the logistics department to ensure seamless delivery of products to customers.
Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a high level of commercial acumen and financial proficiency.
  • Sound analytical capabilities, with a broad perspective on sustainable, shared value creation.
  • Expertise in negotiation and managing lead and sales funnels.
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, and resilient individual who remains calm under pressure.
