Job Title: Children's Home Registered Manager

About the Role:

  • Oversee daily staff deployment and operations to ensure the smooth running of the residential home.
  • Participate in staff recruitment, monitoring, training, retention, and mentoring processes to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Promote personal and professional growth through appropriate task delegation and development opportunities.
  • Manage overall operations effectively, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive training plan, including induction, in compliance with the Care Standards Act.
  • Manage the environment in compliance with Health and Safety requirements, ensuring proper monitoring and documentation.
  • Safeguard children and young people's health, welfare, and development both within and outside the home.
  • Foster positive relationships with families, social workers, educators, and other professionals involved in the children's care.

About You:

  • You must have knowledge of company policies, Children's Homes Regulations 2015, and Quality Standards.
  • You must be flexible and participate in the on-call system to ensure 24/7 coverage.
  • You must have experience with Ofsted and regulatory compliance.
