Job Title: Residential Care Manager for Children's Home

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Care Manager to lead our new Children's Home in Salisbury. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the high-quality reputation of our organization and ensuring the well-being of our young residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of residential support workers to provide specialist care, therapy, and education for young people with complex needs.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the individual needs of each resident.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including social workers, therapists, and other professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Ensure the home is run in accordance with Ofsted regulations and best practice.
  • Manage the home's finances, including budgeting and resource allocation.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a residential care setting, with a proven track record of managing staff and ensuring high-quality care.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and best practice in residential care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with young people, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work holistically with other professionals to ensure young people reach their full potential.
  • Must be a driver with access to a car.
