Residential Care Manager for Children's Home

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Residential Care Manager to join our team at Cooks Home Assistance Care. As a Residential Care Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the high-quality reputation of our organization by providing exceptional care and support to children and young adults in our residential care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of residential support workers to provide high-quality care and support to children and young adults with complex needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child or young adult.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Ofsted standards, and maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all residents.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including social workers, therapists, and other professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Manage financial resources, including budgeting and financial reporting, to ensure the effective operation of the residential care setting.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure a high-quality workforce that delivers exceptional care and support.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a residential care setting, with a proven track record of managing a team and ensuring high-quality care.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence, and exercise emotional intelligence.
  • Passionate about providing exceptional care and support to children and young adults with complex needs.
  • Ability to work holistically with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents.
