Key Responsibilities

Operations

  • Deliver comprehensive import and export solutions for assigned clients and overseas agents, ensuring timely and efficient logistics management.
  • Proactively resolve and communicate discrepancies or delays to clients and overseas partners, maintaining open and transparent communication channels.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best service and pricing for clients, driving cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

Customer Service

  • Provide exceptional customer communication at all times, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs), driving business growth and success.
  • Maintain client and department standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring consistency and quality in our services.
  • Identify and report development opportunities, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Manage credit limits and ensure duty and VAT payments are received prior to delivery, maintaining financial accuracy and compliance.

Administration

  • Create Cargowise shipments, ensuring accurate and efficient logistics management.
  • Complete all order management and tracking information as agreed in the SOP, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Complete all sales and purchase e-billing, driving financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain job costing and profit details for each job, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Upload commercial documents to eDocs/Cargowise, ensuring seamless document management and compliance.
  • Process deferment account records, maintaining accurate financial records and compliance.
  • Load Non-Conformance Exceptions to Cargowise where applicable, driving quality and compliance in our services.

Compliance

  • Complete all customs requirements and ensure compliance, maintaining a strong reputation for regulatory adherence.
  • Stay ahead of changing compliance laws, ensuring our services remain compliant and up-to-date.
  • Complete other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job, as requested, driving flexibility and adaptability in our services.
  • At all times represent and act in the best interest of the company, shareholders, and employees, upholding our values and reputation.
  • Work in accordance with the company values to maintain a positive environment with all teams across all departments, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Location

Onsite or Hybrid with 3 days at our Egham Office, providing flexibility and work-life balance.

Skills & Experience

  • At least 2 years' experience in an airfreight operations role, within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Work as part of a team, driving collaboration and teamwork.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in our services.
  • Work with pride and professionalism, upholding our values and reputation.
  • Strong customer service skills, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Competence in Import and export airfreight knowledge mandatory, ensuring compliance and expertise in our services.
  • Customs knowledge mandatory, maintaining a strong reputation for regulatory adherence.
  • Working hazardous knowledge is desirable, driving safety and compliance in our services.
  • Knowledge of using CargoWise - Desirable, ensuring seamless document management and compliance.
