Digital Forensic Investigator

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Digital Forensic Investigator to join our team at Alexander Associates Technical Recruitment. As a key member of our digital forensics team, you will be responsible for collecting, preserving, and analyzing digital evidence to support investigations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct forensic acquisition of digital devices, including computers, mobile phones, and storage media.
  • Analyze digital evidence to identify, recover, and document relevant information using industry-standard forensic tools.
  • Preserve the integrity of digital evidence by following proper chain-of-custody protocols.
  • Prepare detailed forensic reports and be willing to give evidence in court when necessary.
  • Work closely with legal teams, business stakeholders, and other professionals to support investigations.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in digital forensics.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for digital evidence handling.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital forensics or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of forensic tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with the analysis of various Operating Systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and Mobile platforms (iOS, Android).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High ethical standards and strong attention to detail.
