Job Title: Autism Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Worker to join our team at an outstanding school in the London borough of Barnet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with autism and other special needs in a classroom setting
  • Assist with lesson planning and implementation
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • Understanding of autism and its impact on individuals
  • Experience working with children with special needs (desirable)
