About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Autism Support Worker to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with ASC, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to develop and implement personalized support plans.
  • Assist students with daily living skills, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum, including academic and vocational activities.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) or other learning disabilities.
