Job Title: Autism Support Assistant

EdEx Education Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Autism Support Assistant to join our team. As an Autism Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support to pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) across EYFS, KS1 & KS2.

About the Role:
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with ASD, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to develop and implement tailored programs for pupils with ASD.
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting social skills and emotional regulation.
  • Use your creativity and imagination to design engaging activities and programs that cater to the diverse needs of pupils with ASD.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children with ASD or other special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and other staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for all pupils to flourish.
