About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our supportive team on Oak Ward, an adult treatment ward within Adult Acute Mental Health Services in Cardiff.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients experiencing mental health challenges. Your expertise and empathy will contribute to their recovery journey and well-being.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic patient care.
  • Act as a primary nurse, advocating for your patients' needs and ensuring their voices are heard.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans, promoting patient confidence and competence in managing their mental health.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and implement safety measures to create a therapeutic and secure environment.
  • Utilize excellent communication skills to build rapport with patients, fostering trust and understanding.
  • Contribute to the overall well-being of patients by addressing both their mental and physical health needs.
