About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Cook at Kirkby Thore Primary School. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting the onsite Chef Manager in preparing and serving high-quality meals to students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of main meals and snacks for the site, using fresh seasonal ingredients and cooking for a volume of 200+.
  • Work collaboratively with the Chef Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and restaurant areas.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen and restaurant environment at all times.
  • May include some counter service and till work.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. You will also need to be able to work effectively as part of a team and maintain a clean and safe working environment. A trade test will be required for this role, and you will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check, which will be supplied by Impact Food Group.
