As a Catering Chef, you will take charge of culinary operations at a distinctive venue. This position is ideal for a seasoned culinary expert who excels in a fast-paced setting and is dedicated to providing outstanding food quality using exquisite local ingredients. You will lead a kitchen where the commitment to local produce and culinary excellence is paramount.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in high-volume catering environments, with a solid hands-on cooking background.
  • Knowledgeable in food safety regulations and health standards, ensuring compliance with all practices.
  • Experienced in managing staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling kitchen personnel.
  • Capable of effectively planning daily preparation volumes and overseeing kitchen workflow to satisfy customer needs without sacrificing quality.
  • Experience collaborating with management and other departments to control food inventory, minimize waste, and enhance sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the preparation of all dishes, ensuring they align with our established quality and presentation standards.
  • Assist the Lead Chef in recruiting, training, and developing kitchen staff.
  • Manage staff schedules and rotations to meet business requirements.
  • Work closely with Station Managers to uphold food safety standards, manage inventory levels, and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Chef and Food and Experience Manager to launch new products and seasonal menus, ensuring effective communication with both back and front of house teams.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to enhance kitchen operations and standards.
