About the Role

Job Title: Cook (UK driving licence essential)

Location: Kirkby Thore Primary School, Cumbria

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 8:00am - 2:00pm (30 hours per week)

Working Weeks: 39 weeks per year

Pay Details: £12.75 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cooking for 4 primary schools and serving at Kirkby Thore
  • Working with fresh seasonal ingredients to prepare meals for 170+ primary children
  • May include counter service and maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen and restaurant area

A trade test will be required for this role. IFG are committed to the safeguarding of children and our employees share this commitment. Successful candidates are required to undergo an enhanced DBS check, which IFG supply the cost for.
