Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated professional to become a key member of our Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Head Infection Prevention and Control Nurse to oversee the management of IPC services, offering strategic guidance and expertise to the Scottish Ambulance Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to IPC advisors and auditors within the team.
  • Deliver clinical advice and support to enhance infection prevention practices.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of infection control initiatives.
  • Utilize strong communication and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in a Senior Infection Prevention and Control role and have achieved or be working towards a postgraduate qualification in Infection Prevention and Control.
