Perinatal Mental Health Consultant

We are seeking an exceptional Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Perinatal Mental Health Service at Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to women and birthing people experiencing mental health difficulties during the perinatal period.
Job SummaryThe Perinatal Mental Health Service is a specialist community mental health service that provides evidence-based care and treatment to around 500 women and birthing people per year. Our team is dedicated to delivering compassionate and person-centered care, and we are passionate about providing the best possible outcomes for our service users.
Main Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to the multidisciplinary team
- Develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each service user
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery
