Job Title: Clinical Psychologist - Perinatal Mental Health Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Perinatal Mental Health Service as a specialist in maternal mental health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based psychological interventions to women and their families, working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy to women and their families, using a trauma-informed approach.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care and support.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each service user.
- Contribute to the development of the Perinatal Mental Health Service, including the design and implementation of new programs and services.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care and service delivery.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience working with perinatal mental health populations, preferably in a multidisciplinary team setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
