Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our CAMHS Eating Disorders Team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments and interventions to children, young people, and their families.
Main Responsibilities- Provide Specialist Psychological Assessments and Interventions
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify the needs of children, young people, and their families.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address the psychological needs of clients.
- Join the Senior Leadership of the CAMHS Eating Disorders Team
- Contribute to the effective running of the service, ensuring high-quality care and support for clients.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and implement policies and procedures.
- Develop and Maintain Effective Working Relationships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and their families.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Work Autonomously and Exercise Professional Responsibility
- Work independently to provide high-quality psychological services.
- Exercise professional responsibility for the governance of psychological practice within the service.
- Post-graduate Doctoral Level Training in Clinical Psychology
- Accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- Registration as a Clinical Psychologist with the Health Professions Council
- Or equivalent domain title.
- Experience and Competencies
- Assessed experience and competencies normally acquired through working as a qualified clinical psychologist for a minimum of four years.
- Specific experience and competencies in child clinical psychology.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £62,215 to £72,293 per annum, pro rata, and a range of benefits, including access to ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
