Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead in various case conferences and court sessions, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with partners and agencies, fostering a collaborative environment
  • Contribute to the development of practice standards, ensuring excellence in social work

Requirements and Expectations:

  • Recognized social work qualification and extensive experience in social work
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and agencies
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions

Working Arrangements:

The role requires mobility throughout a wider operational area, including travel to various locations within Essex and beyond. A driving license and car are essential for this position.
