About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our CAMHS Urgent Care Team as a CAMHS Children Therapist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people experiencing mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver Therapeutic Interventions: Work with children, young people, and families to develop and implement effective care plans, promoting positive outcomes and well-being.
  2. Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Contribute to a shared caseload, working closely with colleagues to ensure comprehensive support and supervision.
  3. Provide Training and Consultation: Offer training and consultation to professionals, enhancing their skills and knowledge in recognizing and addressing emotional and mental health needs.
  4. Participate in Quality Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery.
  5. Support Staff Wellbeing: Promote a culture of staff wellbeing, encouraging open communication and supporting colleagues in their professional development.

Requirements

  • UK Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use are preferred for this post.
