About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President to join our Transaction Services Sales team at NatWest Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering a best-in-class customer experience, ensuring our customers receive the best banking solutions for their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for new transaction banking business with new and existing clients, covering the whole product set from traditional payments to digital products, including open banking.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the bank, helping to grow your career and network.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our product and propositions team to engage with our dynamic open banking and innovation teams focused on delivering digital solutions to businesses.
  • Financial Targets: Manage and deliver against stretching, dynamic business development and business retention financial targets at individual, sector, and business level.
What You'll Do
  • Origination: Deliver and embed customer opportunity plans in collaboration with the team.
  • Pitching and Proposals: Lead and deliver client pitches, proposals, and responses to tender documents.
  • Business Promotion: Promote the transaction banking business by attending internal, industry, and customer events.
  • Insights and Analysis: Build client and competitor insights and share these with your colleagues.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Track all origination activity using our sales management system and tools.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven track record in an origination role, with direct accountability for financial targets.
  • Knowledge: Experience in developing business for both new and existing clients, using a sales management framework.
  • Operational Risk: Proven operational risk acumen.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of the regulatory agenda in the financial services market.
