Position Overview: As a Vice President within the Investment Banking division at J.P. Morgan, you will play a pivotal role in managing relationships with corporate clients in the Energy, Power, Renewables, and Mining sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with corporate and financial institution clients.
  • Engage in a variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and capital raises.
  • Balance responsibilities between client service, business development, and project execution.
  • Oversee the training and development of junior bankers.
  • Lead the creation of financial projection models and manage risks associated with transactions.
  • Facilitate client negotiations and manage the Q&A process.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Investment Banking, particularly within the EPRM sector, is highly desirable.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and effective project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • In-depth understanding of financial, legal, and reputational risks in the investment banking landscape.
  • Proficient in technology, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.

This role requires a proactive approach and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment while assuming significant responsibilities as part of a collaborative team.
