Position Overview: As a Vice President within the Investment Banking division focusing on UK EPRM corporates (Energy, Power, Renewables & Mining, including Utilities) in London, you will leverage your expertise to cultivate robust relationships with corporate and financial institution clients while engaging with a diverse range of financial products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in transactions across various banking products, including mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, loans, and capital raises.
  • Balance your role between delivering ongoing client services, acquiring new business, and executing projects effectively.
  • Collaborate across the Energy, Power, Renewables, and Mining sectors, managing client interactions and transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in mentoring junior bankers.
  • Expertise in developing financial projection models.
  • Ability to identify and manage risks associated with transactions.
  • Lead client negotiations, oversee Q&A processes, and conduct management interviews.
  • Prior experience in Investment Banking or transactions, particularly within the EPRM sector and UK market, is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
  • Strong leadership qualities along with effective people and project management skills.
  • Adaptability to manage projects independently and readiness to take on significant responsibilities as part of a team.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial, legal, and reputational risks impacting large integrated investment banks in the current landscape.
  • Proficient technology skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint, with a quick learning ability for new software applications.
