In the role of Senior Account Executive - E-commerce, you will be tasked with securing a competitive edge in the online marketplace. Utilizing pricing strategies, product assortment, visibility, and promotional tactics to ensure optimal performance. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of online retail dynamics and be proactive in driving necessary changes. You will report to the Head of E-commerce Sales and may oversee a team of direct reports. We seek a results-oriented professional with exceptional communication abilities to foster profitable growth over various timeframes.
Key Responsibilities
- Surpass the established budget across all online sales channels.
- Maximize category performance and manage inventory through precise forecasting of exclusive and top-selling products.
- Engage daily with key products, including monitoring and evaluating product rankings, searchability, keywords, and content.
- If applicable: Directly oversee the E-commerce Sales Executive and E-commerce Sales Analyst team, adhering to company HR protocols for performance reviews and development plans.
- Develop P&L statements for new and existing products to ensure we drive profitable growth.
- Ensure brand visibility is agreed upon and delivered.
- Provide regular feedback to the production team.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of sales data for your product range.
- Establish and maintain strong communication and collaborative relationships with the internal E-commerce team.
- Identify marketing requirements to bolster sales efforts in the online sector.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Relay competitor activities and other pertinent information back to the organization.
- Plan, execute, and assess advertising strategies on e-commerce platforms within the agreed budget, sharing key results and insights.
- Regularly track expenditures against the budget to ensure compliance with financial guidelines.
- Adopt a proactive stance in addressing chargebacks and inquiries.
- Engage in comprehensive promotional planning and execution.
