Exciting Opportunity for a Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our award-winning team at a prestigious Country House Hotel in Derbyshire.

The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality cuisine and a proven track record of running a busy kitchen. As a key member of our brigade, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and presentation, while working closely with our Head Chef to drive menu innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and preparation
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
  • Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to drive menu innovation and excellence

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end kitchen
  • Strong culinary skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for delivering high-quality cuisine and a commitment to excellence
