About This Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Perinatal Mental Health Practitioner to join our expanding team. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to women and birthing people experiencing mental health challenges during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for women/birthing people with perinatal mental health needs.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including midwives, social workers, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions and support to promote the well-being of mothers and their infants.
  • Advocate for the needs of women/birthing people and their families within the healthcare system.
  • Contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for individuals with:

  • A relevant professional qualification (RMN/SW/OT).
  • Experience providing mental health care in an inpatient or community setting.
  • Demonstrated understanding of risk management principles.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
