About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team based at The Redwoods Centre in Shrewsbury. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing 24-hour rapid response and assessment of mental health crises in the community.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality clinical services to patients and their families, working in an identified adult community mental health pathway.
- Care coordination of an identified caseload with access to regular and robust support.
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions, in accordance with an agreed care plan, to individuals experiencing mental health-related difficulties.
- Develop and maintain effective communication skills, ensuring accurate and prompt documentation, sharing, and recording of information.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating confidence in working autonomously and taking on the challenge of a changing, modern-day community mental health service.
- Utilize proficient IT skills and possess a valid driver's license.

Person Specification
We are looking for candidates with:
- Dip COT or degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Post and pre-registration experience in a range of clinical settings.
- CPD Folder evidence of ongoing learning and development.
- Experience of integrating care delivery across multi-disciplinary/multi-agency teams.
