Position Overview

We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer to join Matchtech, a prominent player in the Aerospace sector.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be tasked with:

  • Creating detailed circuit layouts and schematics, as well as electrical assemblies, systems, and harnesses.
  • Compiling necessary documentation related to modifications in aircraft, electrical, and avionic systems, along with new components and systems.
  • Ensuring that all required electrical and avionic design documentation is prepared in line with company protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with the Compliance Verification Engineer throughout the design lifecycle, addressing any design challenges associated with airworthiness criteria.
  • Facilitating the organization, planning, and management of design data by working closely with the HDO, PDE, Project Manager, and Project Team.
  • Guaranteeing the availability and thoroughness of design documentation for the Compliance Verification Engineer.
  • Compiling and integrating authorized modifications and updates to design data.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree or HND/HNC or OND/ONC in electrical engineering.
  • A solid understanding of aircraft avionic and electrical component/system design requirements, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in design software such as CATIA, Solidworks, or AutoCAD.
  • The capability to perform calculations to support design activities.
  • A working knowledge of regulatory standards, including EASA, JAA, and FAA (desirable).
