Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at Curtiss-Wright. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex electronic systems for our electric vehicle controllers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop safety-critical electronic systems, including motor control circuits and power electronics.
  • Use test equipment, such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators, to test and validate designs.
  • Create detailed hardware design documentation and perform tolerance analysis.
  • Design and develop printed circuit boards (PCBs) using Altium.
  • Ensure designs meet EMC compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in electronics design, including safety-critical applications and power electronics.
  • Strong knowledge of circuit protection, EMC, microcontrollers, and component selection.
  • Experience with thermal management and circuit simulation using SPICE.
  • Ability to design circuits to meet regulatory requirements, such as USB, CANBus, and Radio Directive.
