We are seeking a skilled and passionate Trainer to join our team at HMYOI Wetherby. As a Hospitality and Catering Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality vocational training to our learners.
About the RoleThis is a permanent, full-time position working 37 hours per week. You will work with groups of learners, developing their practical and theoretical skills in hospitality and catering. You will also work with industry professionals to provide an overview of employment opportunities and help learners develop their aspirations.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, learner-focused vocational training
- Work with learners to develop their practical and theoretical skills in hospitality and catering
- Collaborate with industry professionals to provide employment opportunities and support learners' aspirations
- Monitor and track learners' progress against course criteria
- Service experience in hospitality and catering
- Flexible approach to working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to track and monitor learners' progress
- At least 2 years' experience in the relevant vocational area
- Commitment to gaining relevant qualifications, including Award in Education and TAQA assessment qualification
