Head of Inclusion at HMYOI Wetherby

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our team as Head of Inclusion at HMYOI Wetherby. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all learners receive the support and resources they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:- Effective management of support and inclusion services, including staff and sub-contracted agencies.
- Development and implementation of policies and strategies to meet the special educational needs and disabilities of all learners.
- Collaboration with YOI departments and staff to ensure comprehensive individual learner Educational Health and Care Plans (EHC Plans) are in place.
- Training and support for education staff and YOI staff on safeguarding and equality & diversity.
- Contract management of sub-contracted agencies and oversight of the Outreach service.
- Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Teaching qualification - minimum Cert Ed or PGCE.
- SEN(D) qualification at Level 4 or above.
- Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
- Extensive annual leave.
- Monday to Friday working pattern.
- In-house training programme.
- Teacher training qualification and assessor qualifications.
