In this role, you will manage a caseload of adult males in either a custodial or community setting. Collaborating with probation officers, you will conduct initial evaluations to identify their unique needs and develop customized housing strategies through a series of agreed interventions.

We are looking for candidates who possess a solid understanding of homelessness regulations or have experience in the criminal justice field. However, we recognize that not every applicant will meet all criteria. If you are approachable and comfortable engaging with a diverse array of individuals from various backgrounds, we offer comprehensive on-site training and support to help you enhance your expertise.

In return for your commitment and expertise, we offer a competitive salary ranging from £24,650 to £29,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with attractive benefits, including:

Location:
Hybrid work model, managing cases across various probation offices. Local travel may be necessary for meetings and client appointments.


Hours:
Full-time position, 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)


Contract:
Permanent


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of clients, creating personalized housing plans
  • Conduct initial assessments, taking into account risk factors, situations, and needs
  • Maintain regular contact with clients, identifying any emerging risks and concerns


Qualifications:
Experience or knowledge in housing support, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
