New Homes - As skilled and specialized new build housing contractors, we develop homes and revitalize areas with community needs in mind. We collaborate closely with registered partners, local authorities, and private developers to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient, and sustainable homes for individuals to thrive. Connected - We facilitate communication through fixed-line and wireless telecom infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and access to information for everyone. At United Living, we boast one of the largest specialized in-house teams for project management, acquisition, design, construction, and maintenance in the UK.

Role Overview


• Coordinate and manage traffic control requirements

• Collaborate with local authorities and housing associations regarding planned work

• Ensure that projects are scheduled in accordance with delivery timelines

• Evaluate potential risks in planned activities that may delay project completion

• Maintain and update internal tracking systems and schedules

• Address permit modification inquiries from local authorities and streetworks coordinators

• Document daily project activities

• Participate in meetings and calls as necessary, either virtually or in person

• Input site data into internal and client systems as required

• Retrieve information from client systems, including drawings, surveys, and data sheets

• Prepare and distribute method statements, risk assessments, health and safety packs, and quality plans

• Assemble job packs and upload as directed within agreed service level agreements, ensuring utility safe digs in compliance with health and safety procedures

• Generate purchase orders for approval and invoicing

• Manage the creation and maintenance of electronic and hard copy files

• Report on and drive continuous improvement through effective use of key performance indicators

• Communicate effectively and respectfully with staff, operatives, and clients

• Collaborate closely with streetworks coordinators

• Timely update and respond to any streetworks correspondence

• Organize site visits and liaise with the highway authority as needed

• Provide general administrative support as requested by management

• Undertake any additional duties assigned to support the project team

Technical Expertise

Experienced civil coordinator/planner within the telecommunications sector Proficient in IT, including Excel and other Microsoft applications Background in telecommunications or a related industry Familiarity with local authority and highway authority traffic management applications and CAD submissions Understanding of NRSWA regulations Proficient in utilizing client tools and reports regularly Relevant IT qualifications Health and safety certifications
