Key Responsibilities

As a Surgical Ward Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality nursing care to patients post-surgery.
  • Collaborating with a team of experienced healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Promoting best practices and contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Making informed discharge decisions in partnership with our consulting team.
  • Engaging with other departments to enhance patient care and experience.
  • Monitoring and reporting any significant changes in patients' health status.
  • Fostering your own professional development and that of your colleagues.
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.

  • A qualified nurse with a valid NMC registration, free from restrictions.
