Key Responsibilities- Lead and Deliver Clinical Pharmacy Services

Establish and maintain a comprehensive set of Clinical Pharmacy KPIs to measure the quality and effectiveness of clinical pharmacy services within the pharmacy department and the wider Trust. - Support Medicines Policy Development
Collaborate with the Chief and Deputy Chief Pharmacists to develop and implement Trust Medicines policies, systems, and processes, ensuring alignment with national guidelines and standards. - Lead on Clinical Service Development
Develop and implement clinical services to support the Trust's Medicines Optimisation agenda, working closely with other colleagues, including the Medication Safety Officer and Antimicrobial Pharmacist. - Provide Leadership and Supervision
Lead and supervise a team of Foundation Pharmacists and Band 6/7 Clinical Pharmacists, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical pharmacy services. - Undertake Research and Development
Conduct research, audits, and development activities to ensure the continual progression of clinical pharmacy services, aligning with national targets and standards.

Person SpecificationEssential Qualifications
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC)
- Postgraduate Pharmacy Clinical Diploma or equivalent experience
- Independent Prescribing Qualification (or working towards)
- Significant experience working in an acute NHS Trust
- Postgraduate teaching and training experience
- Leadership/line management experience
