We are currently seeking a proficient Senior Commercial Lead to manage the commercial aspects of various projects within our existing framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a high-performing commercial team that prioritizes professionalism, precision, and efficiency.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and external clients, making strategic commercial decisions to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Engage in pre-contract activities to secure valuable project awards.
  • Support project performance oversight in collaboration with the commercial team and program managers.
  • Enhance the capabilities of the commercial project portfolio team.
  • Drive financial success through robust financial management practices.
  • Exemplify the values and culture of Octavius, leading by example.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Commercial Lead or Managing Quantity Surveyor within a Civil Engineering environment.
  • Proven leadership capabilities in team management.
  • Expertise in monitoring project cost performance and contract management.
  • Experience with NEC contracts is essential.
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
  • Professional membership with a recognized body (e.g., RICS or CICES) is a plus.
