About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Healthcare Assistant in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of a nurse.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Providing fundamental care to patients, including cannulation, phlebotomy, and ECG recording
  • Assisting with blood glucose monitoring and other clinical tasks as required
  • Working effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing workload
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
