About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Psychologist at Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Inpatient Psychology team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide assessments, interventions, and support to patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and well-being.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training programs for staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in mental health.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in psychology or a related field.
  • Be registered with the British Psychological Society as a graduate member.
  • Have experience working in an acute mental health environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
