About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological services to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide assessments, interventions, and support to patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of psychology services, including training and education programs.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery.
Requirements
  • Upper second-class honors degree in psychology or a related field.
  • Graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.
  • Experience working in an acute mental health environment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply psychological knowledge to real-world situations.
