About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and develop treatment plans for patients with mental health conditions
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of patient progress
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans

Requirements

  • Upper second-class honors degree in psychology or a related field
  • Graduate membership of the British Psychological Society
  • Experience working in an acute mental health environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
