Job Overview:
This exciting opportunity is for a highly motivated and empathetic Support Worker to join our team as a Mental Health Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant at an outstanding specialist school in Reading, Berkshire. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with trained therapists, counsellors, and psychologists to provide child-centred support to students with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Working collaboratively with the therapy team to develop and implement individualised plans for students
- Providing emotional support to students through play-based interventions and small group work
- Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery to ensure a tailored approach to each student's learning needs
- Supporting students with their daily routines and activities, including meal times and breaks

Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification+ (e.g., Diploma, NVQ) in a relevant field (e.g., childcare, youth work)
- Experience working with SEN children and/or adults
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

What We Offer:
- Competitive salary: £85-£95 per day
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm
