A career-defining opportunity has arisen for a recent Psychology graduate to join Academics Ltd as a specialist support team member at a reputable school near Reading. This role offers an ideal platform for a motivated individual to develop their skills and gain valuable experience in supporting children with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs.

As part of the support team, you will collaborate closely with experienced staff members and class teachers to deliver tailored education and manage challenging behaviors. Your duties will also involve working one-to-one with pupils to identify potential triggers for their trauma and mental health needs, thereby facilitating therapeutic techniques and restorative practices aimed at promoting well-being.

This position presents a unique chance for a Psychology Graduate to build their expertise in a supportive environment, surrounded by experienced professionals including Psychologists and Therapists. You will contribute to creating a safe and inclusive space for pupils to thrive, with opportunities to employ evidence-based strategies and best practices in mental health support.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be proactive, friendly, and passionate about mental health. Previous experience working with children and/or adults with additional needs would be highly beneficial, but not essential. The salary for this position is approximately £80-90 per day.
