About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting, Insight and Advisory Manager to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the Accounting, Insight and Advisory (AIA) team, providing exceptional client service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the AIA team, ensuring seamless delivery of projects and exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, and promoting a culture of excellence within the team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and delivery of projects.
  • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities, driving growth and revenue.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, ensuring the team's expertise and knowledge are current.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years post-qualification experience in a similar role.
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with strong technical skills, including FRS 102 and FRS 105 experience.
  • Working knowledge of Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and/or other cloud accounting packages.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages, including Word, Outlook, and advanced Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
