About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Improvement Manager to join our team at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. As a key member of our Patient Safety and Care Improvement Team, you will play a critical role in enhancing the performance and efficiency of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of national patient safety improvement programmes, building capacity and capability in quality improvement methodology and coaching skills.
  • Develop and implement QI programmes to support delivery of national patient safety programmes.
  • Provide coaching support of projects and patient safety initiatives across the organization and externally.
  • Coordinate, support, and train in the use of complex quality improvement tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate and engage with colleagues, wider stakeholders, and patients using a structured method to design, test, and implement change.
  • Apply real-time measurement for improvement in safety, effectiveness, and the experience of care.

Requirements
  • Working towards or educated to Master's degree or equivalent level of experience.
  • Evidence of continuous personal professional development.
  • Demonstrable experience of Quality Improvement methodology and its use in healthcare settings.
  • Demonstrable experience in coaching for quality improvement.
